It launched in early 2026, is independent of OHLQ, and is supported by donations from the bourbon hunting community it serves.

Founder bio — Tim Fulton
Tim Fulton is a Columbus-based software builder and bourbon hunter who started Bottle Hunt Ohio after one too many wasted trips chasing rumors of allocated drops. He builds the site solo on evenings and weekends, with input from a small group of Ohio hunters who help test features and surface bugs. Tim takes no payment from OHLQ, distilleries, or anyone with a stake in the product — Bottle Hunt Ohio stays community-funded so the data stays trustworthy.
